Field Trips
With the unprecedented growth in our area and farms becoming more and more sparse, we want to give children and young people the opportunity to experience what a working farm looks like in this day and age. We will offer hands on experiences as it pertains to growing plants and :
- Access to play area
- Access to picnic area
- Additional options are available to add, price per student.
Spring Field Trips
Teachers may pick a free pint or berries or pay for a full size bucket.
- Package A – Package A – Access to our berry fields, pint of berries, picnic and access to
- $10.00/Student
- Package B – Includes all of Pkg. A, read aloud, educational lesson and take home activity,
- $15.00/Student
**Parents/Chaperones must pay for their picking/purchases.
Fall Field Trips
Field Trips for the fall to begin Mid to late September (weather dependent) – early November.
- Package A – Hayride to pumpkin patch, Free Pumpkin, Picnic, and Access to Playground.
- $12.00/Student
- Package B – Includes all of Pkg. A, in addition to Read Aloud, and Take home activity.
- $15.00/Student
** Parents/Chaperones pay for any extra pumpkins, purchases..

McLean Farms, located in Northwest Harnett County (Fuquay-Varina address) is owned and operated by Stephen and Lauren Butts.
The farm is a place where families and friends can gather, get away from the business of towns, make memories, and bring awareness to agriculture education and the importance of where food comes from.
